DRUG TAKE BACK DAY
It’s drug take back day, which means it’s time to clean out your old medications safely!
The DEA is collecting unwanted prescription medications for safe disposal at a number of sites around the Denver Metro area on Saturday, April 29th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This is a good time to get rid of old prescriptions you don’t need or have expired.
Protect yourself, your loved ones (especially children), and the environment from accidental exposure to expired or unneeded medications by disposing of them properly. There are collection sites at many of your local police stations. Go to www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/drug_disposal/takeback or call 1-800-882-9539 to locate a collection site near you.
