THE SUSTAINABILITY DIET

A commission convened by the journal The Lancet says we can have smaller waists and a prettier planet by altering the way we eat. Consuming more healthy foods like grains and legumes, and fewer unhealthy ones like red meats and sugar, would improve not only individuals’ health, but the sustainability of the entire world, the group said.

Further work sponsored by The Lancet will examine the link among obesity, undernutrition, and climate change.
