LIMIT SCREEN TIME

Screen time at ages 2-3 is linked to poorer physical, mental, and social development at ages 3-5, according to a recent JAMA Pediatrics report.

If screen time simply can’t be eliminated, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends a single hour of high-quality programming per day.

Toddlers in the study, by contrast, were watching 2-3 hours per day, according to the lead author.
