YOU’VE PROBABLY NEVER HAD A
3+ HOUR ANNUAL VISIT BEFORE…
… but this one will wind up saving you time and money.
You’ll report to the office for lab tests, followed by breakfast and an in-depth conversation about your health goals and how we’ll work together to reach them. Then your doctor will write a detailed annual health report, which provides a snapshot of your current health and a blueprint for the coming year’s care.
Total physician time commitment: eight hours, on average. But we’re happy to do it because as the relationship deepens, managing your care becomes continuously more efficient and effective.
We’re often asked if we provide executive physicals. The short answer is yes, because our program is ideal for busy people who value efficiency and clear communication.
The slightly longer answer is that “executive physical,” as the term is typically used, is in some ways the opposite of what we do: we spend our time visiting with you one-on-one, getting to know you in depth, so we’re ready to jump in immediately should a medical problem arise. They spend a couple hours on tests followed by… not much.
Our annual exam generates the same data as theirs, but what we do with the data is very different. We use it to augment your medical record, modify your treatment plan, and form the basis of discussion for future office visits or urgent calls.
Executives need physicals, but what good is a physical without a physician? At The Sheldon Sowell Center for Health, you get both.
